Group Insurance Scheme – Application for Additional Life Assurance
Following a survey of members of the Group Insurance Scheme it became clear that a majority of members would like the option to increase their life cover. As a result we were able to negotiate the choices described below.
These options are available to existing subscribing member of the scheme only, and we invite you to consider the options to increase your life cover for both yourself and your spouse / partner.
All we ask you to do to apply for cover, is to complete the Application form, Sterling Health Questionnaire and Beneficiary Nomination Form, and return them to the Federation Office for processing.
We have been able to negotiate excellent rates for this additional cover, and these are highlighted below:
Serving Officer - £25,000 Extra Cover – additional £2 per pay period
Serving Officer - £50,000 Extra Cover – additional £4 per pay period
Spouse - £12,500 Extra Cover – additional £1 per pay period
Spouse - £25,000 Extra Cover – additional £2 per pay period
The costs for the full scheme will be as follows
Scheme 1 - £17.98 per pay period, and includes £80,000 life cover
Scheme 2 - £19.98 per pay period, and includes £105,000 life cover
Scheme 3 - £21.98 per pay period, and includes £130,000 life cover
Partner Scheme 1 - £3.50 per pay period, provides £50,000 life cover
Partner Scheme 2 - £4.50 per pay period, provides £62,500 life cover
Partner Scheme 3 - £5.50 per pay period, provides £75,000 life cover
