Pensioner Scheme

Federation Group Insurance (retirement)

Allows a retiring officer to apply to be considered for continuation in some aspects of the full Group Scheme. Members must have subscribed to the Federation Group Insurance Scheme and be doing so at retirement to be eligible to apply to continue with scheme after retirement.

If a retiring member wishes to include their spouse in the continuation option, he/she must have subscribed to this option whilst serving and be doing so at the time of retirement.

Continuation in the Federation Group Insurance Scheme after retirement is not an automatic right, you will be required to complete a new Group Life Application and beneficiary nomination form which will then be considered in the usual manner for all new applicants.
